We thought it might be fun to do a blog from the couples point of view this week! We asked Stuart and Kayla to answer a few questions for us about their Wedding Day film.
Do you think having a wedding film was worth the investment for a lifetime of memories?
Answer: Absolutely! I can't begin to express how special it was being able to watch our wedding day and I can't tell you how many times Stuart and I have watched our film. I really liked having our letters recorded and played during the film. It made our film so personal. Now having children, I can't wait to have the opportunity to share our video with them one day!
This is my favorite question to ask couples because it is so great to hear how they feel about their wedding film. Of course to us we believe it is the most important thing to have on your big day, but hearing it from our couples just confirms why we do what we do. Having video footage of your special day will allow you to go back and revisit those memories for the rest of your life.
What moment in your wedding film means the world to you?
Answer: I really like having our letters read during the film. Dominic really did a wonderful job capturing each part of our day as well. He was able to catch us getting ready, our ceremony, Stuart and I taking pictures, and our reception. He really was able to show how much our day meant to the both of us and how much fun our friends and family had celebrating. That is something that is hard to take in on the day of, so it's wonderful to go back and look at, to be reminded how much love and joy we were surrounded by!
What a fabulous wedding Kayla & Stuart had! The sun was shining bright on both Kayla and Stuart on a day they would never forget. Congratulations to you both!!!
What was your favorite thing or moment on your wedding day?
Answer: I definitely loved seeing my vision come to life on the day of my wedding. I had spent months day dreaming about every single detail and I loved seeing everything pulled together. My favorite moment on our wedding day was being introduced as husband and wife and dancing to our song together. Stuart and I love to dance and having that moment was one I'll never forget.
Would you recommend DreamClip Films to other clients?
Answer: Yes! DreamClip Films is a wonderful company that really knew what I was looking for in a wedding film. Dominic was excellent to work with and made our wedding day that much more fun and special. They were able to capture every detail and every special moment of the day. I appreciate all the work that was put into our film and truly have loved living our day over and over again because of it!
Is there a chance in the future you may look back and wish you did have video footage of your special day? If so, you owe it to yourself and your spouse to hire a wedding videographer to help capture your day; the chance of living with regret is a much higher cost. We understand the importance of your wedding, and will do what it takes to capture its essence, and deliver a final product that you will treasure for a lifetime.
What's life like now after being married to the love of your life?
Answer: Life since marrying Stuart has been fun, romantic, surprising and busy! We welcomed our first child, Collins Suzanne, in April of 2017 and our second child, Jack Stuart, in September of 2018. Having our kids has only allowed us to fall more in love with each other and really work together as partners. They are the greatest joy in our lives and we couldn't be any happier with where our life is now.
